揹水一戰：為缺水農民而戰！
2016年揹水一戰鐵定於3月13日舉行，為「世界水日」揭開序幕，藉著活動喚起公眾的節水意識，加強水資源保護。
是次活動適合一眾熱衷行山、越野跑、長跑運動及挑戰自我的人士參加。透過活動，參加者一方面可親身體驗國內乾旱山區農民每天為水奔波的苦況，同時亦能身體力行為他們籌款興建集雨水窖。
活動將分設不同組別，以比賽形式進行，喜歡接觸大自然及向難度挑戰的你千萬不容錯過！就讓我們一起並肩努力行善，為缺水農民而戰！
活動目的：
是次活動希望為「集雨水窖」項目籌得港幣210萬元善款。參加者揹負4.5公升水，面對重重挑戰，走畢艱辛山徑，真正體驗缺水農民每日於崎嶇的山嶺間往返取水的苦況，從而體會到水資源的珍貴，引起社會各界關注國內西北的乾旱問題。你每多走一步，農民離水源就近一步。
頒獎時間：
15公里 首3名：中午12時
30公里 首3名：下午1時半
活動後4.5公升水的處理：
活動過後所有未開封之樽裝食水，將一併送到老人院作飲食用途。

- 活動形式：參加者需揹負4.5公升水，用雙腳完成指定的15或30公里活動路線

“Race for Water 2016” will be held on 13 March 2016 (Sunday) as a prelude to the World Water Day 2016, for the purpose of raising public awareness of water-saving and water resources conservation. This activity is good for those who are passionate for hiking, trail running, long-distance running and taking challenge.
Through this activity, participants not only experience the hardship of peasants living in arid area of China, carrying water back and forth between mountains and home in their daily life. Also they can take action to raise funds to build water cellars for them.
Objectives
We aim to raise HKD 2.1 million for the “Water Cellar Campaign” in order to improve peasants’ living in arid region in Mainland China through water cellar providing clean water. Participants carry 4.5 liters bottled water to run through the arduous trail and experience the hardship of peasants carrying water from waterhead to home in their daily life. At the same time, we take this spectacular fundraising event to arouse public awareness of the water shortage problem in Northwest China.

Start & Finish: Yu Chun Keung Memorial College No.2, 1 Chi Fu Close, Pok Fu Lam
Highlight: Participants carry 4.5 liters bottled water on the back to complete the assigned 15km or 30km race route
