Project
Maker Faire 2015
Outline:
Makers are those who make things with their own hands. We are all makers. If you have interesting, creative and incredible projects to share with others, or if you want to let others experience unique ways of making, the Maker Faire Hong Kong is the perfect place for you. Through Maker Faire Hong Kong 2015, local as well as international makers will have the chance to exchange their knowledge, and everyone else will see the possibilities of making, thereby promoting the maker
culture in Hong Kong.
Maker Faire Hong Kong 2015 was held on Saturday & Sunday, 28 & 29 Nov 2015 on the campus of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Hundreds of makers will be present to show‐and‐tell their projects, including arts and crafts, science and engineering, food and music, wearables, architecture, and more. This was the first featured Maker Faire in Hong Kong.
Maker Faire Hong Kong is not a trade show. It offers an opportunity for people to share ideas and projects. Makers are not allowed to sell their products or services at the exhibition areas. For makers that will offer products or services along with their exhibition, they will be at designated areas away from the main exhibition areas on the Podium level of the PolyU campus.
