This project is based on the phenomenon of how people make modifications to their own façade. The façade of Hong Kong residential buildings is complex, and people continuously adjust their own façade from time to time. Addition and subtraction are common. Thus, the façades illustrate how people live. The findings is interesting and it is proved that façade can tell a historical change and how people think and live. The analytical drawings shows the types and purpose of those add-on elements of the façade. Thus, 6 apartments are picked to further develop the interior space. They are cannabis dealer, accountant, washing lady, spy, antique collectors, and philosopher separately. All of them have different preference and interests that make the space behind the façade interesting.
