p(e)ek is a communication design project that is to redesign 5 objects representing a certain set of rules or ideologies behind originally. It allows the audience to take a closer peek into the 5 unknown facets and identities of Hong Kong youths (Diaspora, Isolation, Attachment, Entropy & Spark) and creates a sense of resonance for the young ones, reassuring them that it is all right to act differently from the ‘fixed formulas’ set by society.
This meaningful design project is recently awarded by Red Dot: Brands & Communication Design 2022. Its designer Miss Eunis Liu Yue Ting (Communication Design, 2022) wishes her project would be able to reach out further and deliver the unknown stories and identities of Hong Kong youngsters to the public.
This project is now exhibiting with other 100+ projects at PolyU Design Show until December. Visit them via the virtual show or join our physical guided tour. Details at https://2022.polyudesignshow.com/
