Ani-Com & Games Hong Kong - The age without struggles

90’s, a generation who was born with the atmosphere of the vigorous Japanese ACG trend, filled with their childhood and youth period. However, since the ACG culture has changed a lot rapidly in Hong Kong through these years, the face of ACG has become different from the face in their memories.

There are many 90’s people claiming and complaining about these changes ruined the beautiful and meaningful impression of ACG in their mind, like these new faces are already not the same face they knew for many years, which is tragic and sad. Until now, there are still many discussions on the Internet about supporting the 90’s edition of ACG culture and art, which we could somehow conclude that these 90’s audiences, as well as the major part of ACGHK visitors, are still loving the ACG culture, but with localised adjustments.

ACGHK, a fair with localised memories and signature, needs to repackage the market position. By using the elements of ACG from
the 90’s, to bring up the resonance and the sense of belonging.
