Flora, Wan Lok Yi, has fulfilled her associate degree of Environment and Interior Design in 2014 the Hong Kong Community College of PolyU, and further achieved a bachelor degree of the same discipline in 2016 the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She has also gained internship experience in working for one of the design global companies, Benoy Limited. With the working experience and 4-year study, she is knowledgeable in spatial design and willing to expose what she has learnt from design schools to pursue her future career in the field of architectural and interior design.
“I am interested in striking balance between functional design and creating spatial experience.” – The Storefront for Art and Architecture in New York by Steven Holl and the mobile form and space of the Dancing House in Prague by Frank Gehry have been great inspirations to motivate her in thinking functional and spacious design. The way that she starts thinking design is by using a pen and paper, because drawing leaves more room of imagination.
