The seminar offers an introduction to full-time and part-time MDes specialisms including Design Practices, Design Strategies, Interaction Design, International Design and Business Management, and Urban Environments Design with an opportunity to meet faculty members, staff and students.
Studying design in Hong Kong have never been more exciting – PolyU Design is now located in the new Jockey Club Innovation Tower. The new space and facilities, including Material Connexion resource library, various modeling workshops, sound design facilities, exhibition space and lecture theatre - aim to inspire and support student learning.
At the forefront of design practice and education, the MDes programmes serve students by deepening their understanding of design; broadening their skill set, perspectives, network; and by stimulating their sensitivity environments around. Our international and interdisciplinary faculty prepares students to take charge of their future learning and development in fast changing environments. As a result, our graduates have been successful in broadening their professional fields, making change in their organisation or entering the bustling start-up world.
Whether you are looking for part-time study which you can apply what you learn in the classroom the next day in the business world, or a one-year programme which makes your sabbatical plan possible, our five specialisms in flexible modes of study would cater different professional development needs.
Want to learn more about the MDes experience? You are welcome to join the Information Session on 10 Jan 2015 (Sat). The seminar provides practical information to those who are intending to apply for the coming intake.
