Profile :
In 1993, Wilson and his partner established his first design studio - MancoArt Design (Manco means Manual + Computer and also Man + Cooperation). This studio was mainly providing services of graphic/poster design, digital desktop publishing and offset printing services to Urban Council (now - Leisure and Cultural Services Department).
Wilson received his BSc in Applied Computing with First Class Honor from University of Hertfordshire, UK and MSc in Information Engineering from CUHK in 1997 and 1999 respectively. After graduation, Wilson started his academic career in City University of Hong Kong and pioneered in conducting Game Development courses in local tertiary institute. Besides, Wilson was the vice-chair and secretary of organizing committee of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd International Conference on Application and Development of Computer Games (ADCOG) which was funded by Innovation and Technology Committee, HKSAR. Wilson joined MIC, School of Design in January 2007 and mainly responsible for the teaching of Game Design and Game Development courses.
Wilson is now the EXCO member and Internal Secretary of Hong Kong Digital Entertainment Association (HKDEA), the Honorary Advisors of Hong Kong Digital Game-based Learning Association and Professional Information Security Association (PISA). |
