Peter Dean's expertise blurs the lines between Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering and Manufacturing. Upon receiving Masters degrees from the Royal College of Art and the Imperial College of Science and Technology in 1989, he has worked as an industrial designer, product design engineer, inventor and educator in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Paris, San Francisco and most recently in Hong Kong where he has been an Assistant Professor for product design in the School of Design. With a strong interest in juvenile products, Mr. Dean has invented, designed and engineered nearly 100 toys with major manufacturers in the US and HK. More recently Mr. Dean has been working with top designers in Europe and America designing and producing furniture for nightclubs and hotels in Asia.
