Violet Chan is currently Lecturer of the School of Design at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She has been teaching design management, user-centered design for the Internet and visual communication since joining the School in 2001.

Prior to teaching in School of Design, Violet has engaged in various consultancy projects on generations of Graphical User Interface for Internet, and Interaction Television projects.
