| SD alumnus Mr. Alan Yip shines again in China Red Star Award.
Alan has been awarded the China Red Star Award 2008 with his two designs namely "Li Ning Power-pack" camping backpack and "Life-power LP6500" massage chair in January 2009. This is second consecutive year for Alan to win the same award.

| A report on SD Professor Michael Siu Kin-wai’s design, FlexiBol. FlexiBol is aset of guard rails that can be set into 20 combinations to cope with different occasions on streets. It helps to better protect the pedestrians and to better manage the crowd during holidays and events. FlexiBol, made of stainless steel, is now on trail test at Causeway Bay.
