Every summer, students and tutors from institutes around the world are invited to Hong Kong and participate in the I.do Workshop, the International Design Opportunity Workshop organized by SD.
The aim of this workshop is to encourage international design collaboration and allow design cultural exchange among students from different parts of the world. It is organized to encourage international and multidisciplinary design collaboration in, with and for local communities and to gain unique learning experiences. Through sharing new cultural design methods and networking with designers from around the world, the workshop participants are able to create fresh new design solutions for sustainable product development for indigenous communities.
The I.do workshop is an annual event. Each year a new mix of school, projects and industry partners will be invited to participate.
