A group of Product Design year 3 students, Alice, Crystal, Jada and Paula, won the Second Runner-up prize at the Disney ImagiNations Hong Kong Design Competition 2016 with their interactive outdoor space design - echo de la mer.
echo de la mer (means ‘the echo of the sea’) is a proposed space on PolyU campus set up to release stress of the students. The design is inspired by the idea of bottle message. There are two parts of the design, La mer and Blubbur, each of which has its own unique interaction to alleviate personal stress.
