Asian Ergonomics Design Lab’s SizeChina Faceform won the ACED Ergonomics Design Award

Asian Ergonomics Design Lab, led by Dr. Yan Luximon, Assistant Professor of PolyU Design, won the Best Innovation Award from the ACED Ergonomics Design Awards 2017 in Japan. 

SizeChina Faceform is the first set of anthropometric design tools developed for head and face related products for Chinese population and come in small, medium and Large sizes for men and women respectively. The tools are used for direct design modeling and evaluating existing products for fit and sizing. 

ACED (Asian Council on Ergonomics and Design) Ergonomics Design Award was established to promote ergonomic design of Asian products. ACED Ergonomic Design Award entries are assessed by juries from the ACED Council. ACED council is the governing body of the ACED representing the ergonomics societies of 17 Asian countries.
