  1. 2:00 - 2:45 PM Lecture
  2. 2:45 - 3:00 PM Q&A

Our once familiar landscape has been swept away by the digital information flood. Overnight and virtually the developed world has moved from a manufacturing to knowledge-based economy.

The new promise of Internet of everything, smart connected appliances or wearable devices becomes a way of life, we must retain a sense of vision and of value. Yesterday our value were founded on rational certainty. Success tomorrow will depend on our ability to navigate ambiguity and as always, upon our power of imagination, creativity and intuition.

It is a continuous journey. As designers, our role is constantly evolving, and how can we ensure we have the tools and knowledge to keep pace with this change and build on the opportunities it offer? Our challenge is to successfully navigate the crosscurrents of culture, technology and human emotion, and use our knowledge to create products that truly enhance our feelings.
