Prison Art Explore

Dr Kacey Wong and his students from BA (Hons) in Design (Environmental & Interior) join the "Prison Art Museum", which was one of the programs of "Journey to the History of Victoria Prison" organized by Central & Western District Council in January 2007 which obtained favourable responses from the public. Thus during the reopen period for students visit in October Artist Commune invited art students to join workshop in Victoria Prison as part of the conservation program. More than 50 students from 5 art schools participated "PrisonArtExplore" and then exhibited their artworks in early 2008 with the tasks of promoting conservation of heritage and enhancing art creativity.
