PolyU Alumni Homecoming Carnival

The biennial "PolyU Alumni Homecoming Carnival" will be held next Sunday, (9 March 2008) from 12:00noon to 6:00pm on the university campus. All PolyU alumni, staff, students and their family members are welcome to join!!

Highlights of this year's programmes include:

* Opening Ceremony: McMug and McDull, the mascots created by PolyU design alumnus Ms Alice Mak, will be invited as special guests at the Opening Ceremony, to be held at 12:00noon at Suen Chi Sun Memorial Square.

* PolyU Campus Bus Tour: Participants can board on an open-top double-decker sightseeing bus to tour around some new PolyU facilities, such as PolyU Students Hall of Residence and campus of The Hong Kong Community College at Hung Hom Bay.

* Magic Workshop: Participants and their kids can learn how to play magic together.

* Silent Auction: A variety of nice gifts will be available for bidding at attractive prices. All the surplus will be donated to the “Dr Y K Ching Memorial Fund” to support outstanding PolyU students.

Meanwhile, a wide array of game booths, stage performances, different sport games, campus tours, handicraft and family-based fun games will be arranged. Selected sports facilities will be open to all participants for free.

What's more, "PolyU Alumni 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament" and "Inter-Alumni-Association 7-a-side Soccer Competition" will also be held.

Free-of-charge carnival passes will be distributed to all PolyU alumni/staff/ students and their family members on the Carnival Day (available on first-come-first-served basis).
